Dull: When you are not entertaining or are kind of boring.
Straightaway: Directly.
Staff-room: It is a room where only workers can access.
Come across: to find something you not were expecting to find at the moment
Get away: escape but to like a vacation and such
Get off: You get off the train, off the plain, etc.
Get on: go into a vehicle and that kind of stuff
See off: say goodbye to something or someone
Speed up: to accelerate
Stop over: stop for a moment while you are in a journey.
Take off: you take off your clothes or a plane takes off
Turn back: return from a journey, travel, etc.
Double-decker: bus with two levels.Fare: the money you pay for travellig on public transport.
Pedestrian: a person that walks on pavement.
Rush-hour: peak traffic times.
